How to fix an issue where FancyZones (part of the PowerToys toolset) fails to work properly due to conflicts with Windows 11's built-in window management.
Windows 11's native window management interfered with FancyZones by overriding window placements through keyboard shortcuts (e.g., Win+Left/Right) and occasionally introducing a "snap deck" that was unreliable.
In short, if you prefer using a simple admin UI, you can open Regedit and navigate to a specific registry key to resolve the issue.
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
To fix the issue, create a new key under the registry, name it EnableSnapAssistFlyout, set its type to DWORD, and set the value to 0.
